DIVISIONS

All divisions will follow the USA National Tournament Guidelines in pounds!

All divisions will be grouped once registration closes. The listed divisions are placeholders and general weight classes are set up so we can get a general idea of the divisions. We will group athletes by Age, Weight, and skill with weight divisions being Light, Medium, Heavy and Super Heavy.

Novice Divisions are Yellow Belt & Below for Bantam, Intermediate, & Juvenile, & White through Blue for Cadet, Ijf, Senior, & Veterans.

Bantam & Intermediate Novice Divisions will have either a Newaza only division as well as a Novice Tachiwaza and Newaza (regular tournament format) divisions.

All other Novice divisions will follow the regular format allowing both Tachiwaza & Newaza.

Please note that we will be grouping people within 5-10 Pounds / 2-4 Kilograms with each other where possible to ensure the maximum amount of matches.

We will group athletes by Age, Weight, and skill with weight divisions being Light, Medium, Heavy and Super Heavy. That will be listed once registration closes.

We will do our best to separate the same club participants into the same division. If approved we can change the participant to another age or weight bracket.
