The Competition

The competition at the Hudson Judo Cup included both male and female fighters of all ages. There were divisions for children, teens, adults, and even veterans! Everyone had an opportunity to fight in multiple divisions if they chose. It was a great opportunity for competitors to test their skills against both familiar opponents and opponents from outside their own clubs.

American Judo & Nuway Combat Support

American Judo provided invaluable assistance in making the tournament run smoothly by providing support with everything from mat set up and registrations to bracketing and technology setup. They also made sure that all competitors were aware of any changes or updates prior to the start of each division’s competition. Finally, Nuway Combat provided the venue which was beautiful and state of the art.

Overall, the Hudson Judo Cup was a great success due in large part to American Judo and Nuway Combat’s help with organizing and running the event itself as well as supplying support staff such as judges throughout the day-long tournament. With nearly 100 competitors from all over New Jersey participating in this well-organized event on such short notice, it is clear that there is tremendous interest within the judo community for more events like this one! We look forward to seeing more tournaments like this one organized soon!
