2023 Budokan Dojo Annual Judo Tournament

American Judo has teamed up with Budokan Dojo to provide the best tournament experience possible. American Judo Shiai's are the perfect place for any judoka looking to gain experience in a competitive yet friendly tournament atmosphere. Our developmental tournament series offers as many matches as possible, so you can get the most out of your experience. With a modified rule set in place, everyone is sure to have a positive tournament experience.

Format: Modified Double Elimination or Round Robin for 4 or Less; All competitors are guaranteed 2 matches or your entry fee back. 

Age Standards: Age 4 and Up

• Competitors will need to present a vaild USJA, USJF or Judo Canada memberships.

COSTS & REGISTRATION DETAILS:

• $55 for one division & $25 per additional division 
• This applies to both SHIAI & KATA divisions
• All registrations must be done via smoothcomp NO LATER than Tuesday, April 18th at 11:59pm

WEIGH IN PROCEDURES:

• All weights must be submitted via email by a Sensei/Dojo Coach/Dojo Official NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, APRIL 20TH at 11:59PM
• Please note if your weight is questioned, you will be asked to step on a scale and you must be within 5% of your declared weight or you will be disqualified from the event, you will not be issued a refund and you will jeopardize your dojos ability to submit weights for American Judo events.
