2023 Hilo Hongwanji Judo Invitational

American Judo has teamed up with Hilo Hongwanji to provide the best tournament experience possible. American Judo Shiai's are the perfect place for any judoka looking to gain experience in a competitive yet friendly tournament atmosphere. Our developmental tournament series offers as many matches as possible, so you can get the most out of your experience. With a modified rule set in place, everyone is sure to have a positive tournament experience.

Format: Modified Double Elimination or Round Robin for 4 or Less; All competitors are guaranteed 2 matches or your entry fee back. 

Eligibility: Must be a current USJF, USA Judo or USJA member and be the age of 4 or older.

WEIGH IN PROCEDURES:

• All weights must be submitted via email by a Sensei/Dojo Coach/Dojo Official NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, October 19th at 11:59pm. PLEASE EMAIL [email protected]
• Please note if your weight is questioned, you will be asked to step on a scale and you must be within 5% of your declared weight or you will be disqualified from the event, you will not be issued a refund and you will jeopardize your dojos ability to submit weights for American Judo events.
